Welcome back! Picking up our story where we left off, we currently have 7 Sims in the house and a good number of supernaturals. We have Gregg (Vampire), Rachel (Vampire), EphyToast, Bran, Bristol, Darren (werewolf) and Dirk (werewolf) rattling around the house bumping into each other.
I decided it was time to start trying for some new tombstones, but I hate killing my Sims on purpose, so we were gonna leave it up to chance.
And so...out came....
The jelly bean tree of doom, only Sims who had completed their lifetime want got to eat from it, and for a good while that was EphyToast because she kept rolling wants to eat the jelly beans. Sometimes she had good results and sometimes bad.
EphyToast also decided to take up gardening and see if I couldn't knock out some of the gardening achievements I hadn't yet done.
While having Darren care for his young son, Dirk one day, I ran into the oops it's his birthday moment...
Dirk grew up and makes a cute little toddler. He has plenty of adults to fawn over him.
EphyToast decided to increase her skills in the garden by drinking a potion and turning into a faerie.
However she still had to occasionally stop for a jelly bean every so often.
Darren and Rachel started working on repairing their relationship.
And Bristol started working on alchemy and suffered a slight... backfire....
Unfortunately Bristol doesn't have a boyfriend, she didn't make one in high school like her brother Bran did. She took herself off to the town wishing well, to grab a frog, pucker up and try to find a love.
And boom...She gets....an old woman?! Apparently Snobby, Proper Bristol likes girls. But alas while she got a kiss, it didn't work. She was still a frog.
The next day she returned to the wishing well in the hopes that someone else would come give her the kiss she needed. She reached in, grabbed a frog, puckered up and kissed her frog.
And gets another older woman, apparently she likes the cougars!
She quickly asked her new love if they would give her a kiss to solve her problem, but alas no such luck.
She roamed around town, and finally found a lovely lady to kiss her back to normal after much begging at the potion shop.
EphyToast continued to eat jelly beans with some occasional side effects.
Dirk soon was celebrating the Shocklee traditional bathroom birthday and gained the trait 'Night Owl'.
About this time, we started to develop a bit of a ghost problem...
It was spooky time, so perhaps that was it. Dirk decided he wanted to trick or treat around town and had a lot of fun running around asking for treats.
Then one night....Bran got abducted...and I got sooo happy! Maybe we'd get lucky and have an alien in the family.
EphyToast decided to stop by the weather stone and use it one night...causing beautiful side effects...
A few nights later, EphyToast got a really bad jelly bean....and caught fire..
I was singing "burn, baby, burn" when Brave Bran dashed in and in the middle of his family's panic put his sister out.
Dammit.
Gregg decided to take a bite out of the help.
Another round of bad birthday photos and Dirk was a teen werewolf....who was a Grumpy, Virtuoso, Night Owl...Vegetarian!?
Bran and Bristol aged to adult shortly after, and their grow up photos sucked even worse.
A few night later, the aliens returned to steal teenage Dirk.
The couple that ....
gets electrocuted together...stays together? I'm not entirely sure how they both got electrocuted. I think one happened at work and another while someone was repairing, but it cracked me up that within hours they both ended up the same way.
As soon as a very NOT pregnant Bran achieved his lifetime want...He got to eat jelly beans too.
Darren and Dirk did some good old fashioned male werewolf bonding by practicing fighting with each other.
Then the aliens came back for Bran. I hooted, I hollared, I was sooo happy. Maybe we'd get that alien baby yet this gen...
And then my game locked up, froze solid and had to be restarted. No alien baby for me. <sobs>
EphyToast continued her deathwish and started burning leaves in the yard. Unfortunately Brave Bran liked to rush in and save the day.
Dammit.
Finally after months and years of working on their relationship, Darren asked Rachel to remarry him. She said yes, and they promptly married in the bathroom they had first been married in. Hrm...I do seem to do a lot of important life events in the bathroom huh?
A few nights later, Darren finally accomplished his lifetime want (the same as his wife's) and everything he's done will count for the challenge.
Dirk Shocklee
Traits: Grumpy, Handy, Night Owl, Vegetarian, Virtuoso

Gregg FINALLY aged to Elder.
Followed shortly after by Darren.
And everyone came home from Dirk's graduation exhausted...Oops?
The truth is my ghosts had gotten very active and were harasssing the living daylights out of their descendants.
Something had to be done. Thankfully ASimWen came up with a wonderful idea to control her ghosts, and I decided to steal it.
I created a ghost bunker below the graveyard to draw my ghosts into the bunker and away from their family.
Gregg immediately started spending all of his time down there. I had pretty much decided to let him do whatever he wanted by this point because he had managed to knock out all of my fishing achievements.
The aliens returned and decided to take EphyToast for a visit this time.
Bran decided to retire from being a Sports Legend and take up Daycare. The garage was converted to a daycare center for him to care for his charges.
Bristol soon became an Emperor of Evil like her father and they liked to talk about the best ways to make money, like father like daughter. (Annoyingly Gregg had the rolled the wish for Bristol to be Emperor of Evil like him and he should have earned 23,000 simpoints when she did, but somehow he didn't.)
A few days later Bristol achieved her lifetime want of Perfect Mind, Perfect Body.
Darren and Rachel were enjoying a date night together and working towards a woohoo....When they were rudely interrupted...
By aliens taking Rachel off for a little visit.
Bristol soon joined the jelly bean eaters club since she was now fair game having completed her lifetime want.
Bran and Bristol aged to Elder beating their older siblings because they weren't supernaturals.
Gregg took up residence in the ghost bunker and slowly....very very slowly...So slowly it was a race to see if he would die of old age or starvation first began to starve..
The aliens returned and abducted Bran again.
Gregg continued to starve..
The forever chubby Bran got chubbier than he ever had before.
A few days later, he gave birth to a bouncing alien baby boy!
Mork Shocklee
Traits: Clumsy, Neurotic
EphyToast hit up the jelly bean tree.
Bristol hit up the jelly bean tree. By this point the Shocklees had probably consumed around 50 jelly beans between EphyToast, Bran, and Bristol.
Bristol won the jelly bean lottery.
EphyToast and Bran ran in mourn their sister. (And probably their lucky stars it hadn't been them.)
Grim took Bristol away and she became our jelly bean ghost! (Such a pretty ghost!)
Meanwhile...in the ghost bunker...
Gregg continued to starve and mourn the death of his daughter.
Finally at age 89, Gregg starved to death. Starving a vampire with the hardly hungry lifetime reward, takes a very long time.
I was rather surprised that neither Gregg nor Darren showed how old they should have been as supernaturals. He was way older than 89 days.
We leave off with Darren at age 89 days and no idea if he will die on day 90 or have extra time. Rachel and EphyToast are both still young adults. Bran is working on topping the daycare profession, but will he manage to finish it before he dies of Old Age? Dirk is working his way up his career track and has yet to meet a girl he's interested in. I'll probably hold off on actually marrying him and making the next generation for a while yet.
